Terms of Use

Effective date: . Last updated: .

1. Who we are

LimitFacts is run by the operator of LimitFacts, an individual. LimitFacts is a trade name. It is not a company. "We" and "us" mean the operator of LimitFacts.

LimitFacts covers limitfacts.com, limitfacts.dev, api.limitfacts.dev, our MCP server and our npm packages (together, "LimitFacts").

Contact: hello@limitfacts.com.

2. These terms

These terms apply when you use LimitFacts. If you do not accept them, do not use LimitFacts. If you use LimitFacts for a business, you accept these terms for that business.

3. What LimitFacts does

LimitFacts publishes prices and plan limits of AI, SaaS, developer tools and hosting products. We take the data from official vendor pages. Each number shows its source and the date we checked it.

Our free REST API and MCP server give the same data to developers and AI agents. You do not need an account.

We do not sell the products we list. We are not the vendor. We do not publish ratings or reviews, and we do not run hands-on product tests.

LimitFacts has not joined any affiliate program yet. Today the site has no affiliate links.

Later, some links may be affiliate links. If you buy through one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This does not change our data or the order of results. No vendor can pay to change a number or a position. Each affiliate link is marked. Read our affiliate disclosure.

In the API and MCP, official_url is always the vendor's own link. Every response has a disclosure object.

5. Data accuracy

Prices and limits change often. We check official vendor pages, but a number can be wrong or out of date. Each number shows the date we checked it. Always confirm the price and terms on the vendor's own page before you buy.

To the extent the law allows, LimitFacts is provided "as is" and "as available", with no warranty. We do not promise that LimitFacts is complete, correct, current or always available.

To report an error, write to hello@limitfacts.com. Tell us the page and the number.

6. Not professional advice

LimitFacts gives general information only. It is not legal, financial, tax, technical or other professional advice. You make your own buying decisions.

7. Acceptable use

You must not:

  1. Send more requests to the API or MCP server than the rate limit in our API docs and responses. Today the limit is 60 requests per 60 seconds per client.
  2. Try to get around a rate limit, block or other access control, for example with many clients or addresses.
  3. Scrape the website in bulk. For bulk data, use the API or the dataset file. Follow our robots.txt.
  4. Attack, overload, probe or disrupt LimitFacts, or upload harmful code.
  5. Change our numbers and still show them as LimitFacts data. If you change them, say so.
  6. Use LimitFacts to break the law or the rights of others.

If you build an app or AI agent that shows LimitFacts data to people:

  1. Keep the source link or official_url, and the checked date, with each number.
  2. If you show a link from the affiliate_url field, show the disclosure text from the same response next to it.

8. Data licence

Our dataset compilation is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International licence (CC BY 4.0). The compilation is our selection, arrangement and structure of the data, and our own text. When you use it, credit "LimitFacts", link to https://limitfacts.com, link to the licence, and say if you made changes.

Vendor facts (prices, limits, plan names and other facts from vendor pages), vendor names and marks, and quoted vendor text are not ours. We do not license them, and we claim no rights in them.

9. Trademarks

Product and company names and marks belong to their owners. We use them only to name the products we list. This does not mean that any vendor endorses, sponsors or approves LimitFacts, unless a page says so.

Do not use the LimitFacts name or logo in a way that suggests we endorse you or your product.

10. Third-party sites

LimitFacts links to vendor sites and affiliate networks. We do not control them. Their own terms and privacy policies apply.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss that comes from your use of LimitFacts or from relying on its data. This includes lost profits, lost data, business loss, and indirect or consequential loss.

If you use LimitFacts for a business, our total liability to you is limited to USD 100.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for:

  1. death or personal injury caused by negligence;
  2. fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
  3. any other liability that the law does not allow us to exclude or limit.

If you are a consumer, you keep all the rights that the law of your country gives you. These terms do not take those rights away.

12. Indemnity (business users only)

This section applies if you use LimitFacts for a business. A third party may make a claim against us because you broke these terms or the law. You will then cover our reasonable losses and costs from that claim. This section does not apply to consumers.

13. Suspension and end of access

We may limit, suspend or end API or MCP access for any client that breaks these terms or harms LimitFacts. Where it is reasonable, we tell you first.

We may change or stop any part of LimitFacts. LimitFacts is free, so no refund applies.

14. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. We post the new version on this page with a new effective date. For an important change, we show a note on this page. The new terms apply from their effective date, not to past use. If you continue to use LimitFacts after that date, you accept the new terms.

15. Governing law and courts

These terms are governed by the law of the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC). The courts of the DIFC have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute about these terms or LimitFacts.

If you are a consumer, you may also bring a claim in the courts of the country where you live. You keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of that country.

16. Other terms

If a court finds part of these terms invalid, the rest stays in force. If we do not enforce a term at once, we can still enforce it later. These terms, the privacy notice and the data licence are the full agreement about your use of LimitFacts.

17. Privacy

Read our privacy notice. The API and MCP server have their own privacy note: https://limitfacts.dev/privacy/
